Scott also handles commercial lawsuits including debt collection cases and business agreement enforcement. Mediation Services Scott Stensaas is a certified Civil Mediator, having completed the court approved instructional courses, including Advanced Mediation Training, in facilitative mediation techniques and philosophy. He is experienced in conducting civil mediation of disputes pursuant to the Michigan Court Rules procedures, MCR 2.410 and MCR 2,411. Mr. Stensaas is also an approved mediator for the U S Bankruptcy Court. Mediation services are rendered per agreement of parties and their counsel, and in accordance with the Michigan Court Rules and Local Bankruptcy Rules as appropriate to the dispute forum.
